Blended CPR Classes: Because Life Doesn’t Pause for Training

Did you know you can learn CPR online… sort of? Yep, it’s true—and it’s actually kind of genius. At Live and Learn CPR, we’ve teamed up with the American Heart Association to offer blended learning classes for CPR AED, First Aid, and BLS certification. That means you get the best of both worlds: the freedom to learn at your own pace and the confidence that only comes from practicing hands-on skills with a real instructor.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Sign Up for the online portion of the class through the American Heart Association.

Head over to to the AHA website and choose the course you need—whether it’s BLS for healthcare providers, CPR AED, or First Aid.

Step 2: Complete the Online Portion at Home

Complete the online portion. It’s self-paced, interactive, and can be done from your couch, your favorite coffee shop, or anywhere with Wi-Fi.

Step 3: Send Us Your Completion Certificate

Once you finish the online portion, you’ll get a completion certificate. Send it our way so we can confirm you're ready for the hands-on skills session.

Step 4: Join Us for In-Person Skills Practice

This is where we get real. You’ll register for the skills session and come to our training location (or we’ll come to your group, if applicable) for a short, focused, and friendly skills session. You’ll practice CPR, AED use, choking relief, and more—with expert guidance and feedback from one of our awesome instructors.

Step 5: Get Certified!

After demonstrating your skills, you’ll receive your official American Heart Association certification—valid for 2 years and accepted nationwide.
