Bailey's Story

I was contacted a few weeks ago by a woman named Patrice Bullock. Patrice explained to me that her son Bailey Bullock passed away of a sudden cardiac arrest in May of 2021. Bailey was only 16 years old. Bailey was an athlete at John Carroll High School and loved by all.

Patrice has established a foundation in Bailey's name called the Bailey's Heart and Soul Foundation. Bailey's foundation's mission is to "bring awareness of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) to high school communities, provide education and the necessary tools to respond to life-threatening cardiac medical emergencies, and enhance those events' outcomes."

Patrice asked me to be a part of a CPR AED Training event and I jumped at the chance! This event will be held on February 19, 2022 at the Bel Air Armory to honor the life of Bailey Bullock. The event will consist of CPR AED training for victims of all ages. Participants can learn hands-only CPR or can opt for certification. Participants must register for the event in advance. To register for your desired training session, go to https://form.jotform.com/212996953144163. All proceeds will go to AED sponsorships and fund scholarships in Bailey's name.
