This course is for participants who would like to become American Heart Association BLS Instructors.   This course has 2 parts; Part 1 is online and Part 2 is a 5-hour classroom session.  You must complete Part 1 online prior to the  classroom session.

The course charge is $325 which includes the online course link to BLS Instructor Essential Online and the classroom session, as well as post-course mentoring, monitoring and support.

Before taking this course you are required to:

​

- have a current provider course completion card in the discipline you wish to 
   teach.  
- have completed the BLS Instructor Essential Online portion. (This will be sent to 
   you via email)
- have completed the Instructor Packet that will be emailed to you prior to class.

This course results in the ability to teach both BLS and Heartsaver classes.
