SHOULD I BRING ANYTHING TO CLASS WITH ME?
If you have a student manual, please bring it with you to class. It's also a good idea to bring a notebook and pencil. We will supply water and coffee but if you would like to drink something else feel free to bring it with you.
WILL MY EMPLOYER AND/OR SCHOOL ACCEPT THIS CERTIFICATION?
It's always recommended that you check with your employer and/or school to confirm that the class you register for meets their requirements. However, American Heart Association certification is the premier certification that most employers and schools require. We are more than happy to take a look at your requirement and make sure you get the correct class.
WILL YOU PROVIDE GROUP TRAINING AT OUR OFFICE/BUSINESS?
We would love to! We provide training to many medical offices, facilities and businesses. Scheduling is easy! Give us a call!
WHAT DO I DO IF I AM ABOUT TO EXPIRE AND CAN'T FIND A CLASS THAT FITS MY SCHEDULE? WHAT IF PREFER A 1-ON-1 CLASS?
We have you covered! We offer 1-on-1 classes and are happy to schedule your class at a time that is convenient for your busy schedule. Just give us a call or shoot us an email! Pricing varies according to class.
CAN I TAKE AN ONLINE CPR CLASS?
HOW DO I KNOW WHICH CLASS TO TAKE?
Yes...kind of! American Heart Association offers blended learning classes. You would complete the bulk of the class online, at your convenience, then come in for the skills session. When you come in for your skills session you will bring in the online completion certificate. You will receive the same certification that you would receive if you sat through the full classroom session.
Generally, all healthcare providers and healthcare students will be required to take the American Heart Association BLS for Providers class. Heartsaver CPR AED is geared for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. Always check with your employer or school to make sure you select the correct class. We are happy to look over your requirements and help you choose the appropriate certification.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?
DOES LIVE AND LEARN CPR SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY WITH OUTREACH PROGRAMS?
We do! We typically offer a couple different discounts each month. Normally, our discounts coincide with celebrations for the month. For example, in October we celebrated Pediatric Nurse Week and Respiratory Therapy Week. Pediatric nurses and RT's got discounts all month.
We absolutely do! We believe in supporting our communities. We believe that sharing our resources can change lives. Our outreach consists of offered free community classes, raising money, food drives, volunteering and our very favorite, celebrating our heroes!
